Klassifikation der Kommunikations- und Identifikationsfähigkeit

Anmerkung: Aufgrund der Bedeutung der Kommunikationsfähigkeit und der Erkennbarkeitdes Bekanntheitsgrads (Communication and Presentation) kann die Zugehörigkeit eines Elements zu den jeweiligen Klassen in einer kombinierten CP-Ziffernnotation ausgedrückt werden. CP steht für Communication und Presentation. Eine solche Notation hat sich z.B. im Bereich der IP-Schutzklassen bewährt.

CP XY

Kommunikationsfähigkeit (X-Ziffer)

• 4 - I4.0 konform kommunikationsfähig

• 3 - aktiv kommunikationsfähig

• 2 - passiv kommunikationsfähig

• 1 - nicht kommunikationsfähig

Bekanntheitsgrad (Y-Ziffer)

• 4 - als Entität verwaltet

• 3 - individuell bekannt

• 2 - anonym bekannt

• 1 - unbekannt

Beispiel: So entspricht CP33 z.B. einer individuell bekannten aktiv kommunikationsfähigen Komponenten, also z.B. einem klassischen Profibus-Feldgerät. Ein Sicherheitsbehälter, der in seinem Lebenszyklus überwacht und verwaltet wird, aber keinerlei Kommunikationsfähigkeit besitzt, hätte die CP-Klasse CP14.

Note: Because the capability to communicate and the degree of familiarity recognized are so important (communication and presentation-CP), the member-ship of an element in its respective class can be expressed by a combined CP/numeric notation. A notation of this kind has proved itself useful in the field of IP protection classes, for example.

CP XY

Communication capability (X-digit)

• 4 – capable of I4.0 conform communication

• 3 – capable of active communication

• 2 – capable of passive communication

• 1 – not capable of communication

Degree of familiarity (Y-digit)

• 4 – managed as entity

• 3 – individually known

• 2 – anonymously known

• 1 – unknown

Example: CP33, for example, corresponds to an individually known component actively capable of communication – in other words, for example, a clas-sic Profibus field device. A safety container which is monitored and managed throughout its life cycle but has no ability to communicate would come under CP class CP14.
